Illinois Aviation Museum

Illinois Aviation Museum sits beside the runway at Clow International Airport in Bolingbrook, where volunteers have been collecting and restoring aircraft since 2001. Seventeen airplanes are on display, from a Navy A-4 Skyhawk and T-2 trainer to a UH-1C Huey gunship, a T-33 and a set of World War I replicas including a Fokker Dr.I triplane. A Link Trainer, the 1930s flight simulator, sits among the exhibits. Admission is free, weekend hours are the norm, and members are building a Zenith CH 750 in the hangar. The museum published a summer 2026 newsletter in August 2026.
