The Illinois Holocaust Museum & Education Center is a Skokie museum at 9603 Woods Drive whose main building closed in July 2025 for a renovation that adds a welcome center, a redesigned auditorium and more exhibition space. While Skokie is under construction the museum runs Experience360, a satellite exhibition at 360 N. State St. in River North, Chicago, with survivor holograms, virtual reality theaters and exhibits on the Holocaust and other genocides. The Skokie reopening is planned for fall 2026 on a date to be announced.
