Johnny’s IceHouse is a family-owned rink on West Madison Street west of Western Avenue, and a regular stop for West Side and city hockey families. The rink says the family has run the place for more than 30 years. Programs cover youth and adult classes, and each August the rink holds an End of Summer Youth Hockey Camp with Ford Hockey School to get Mite and Squirt-age players ready for the season. The rink lists the Chicago Jets Hockey Club and DePaul men’s hockey among its partners.
