Katherine Anne Confections opened its retail shop in Logan Square in 2012 at 2745 W. Armitage Ave. and added a second shop, workshop and headquarters at 3653 W. Irving Park Rd. in 2023. The shop makes hand-dipped truffles such as goat cheese walnut and a Manhattan cocktail truffle with FEW bourbon, plus caramels, marshmallows and a dozen kinds of hot chocolate. New sweets rotate in each month. The cafe side pours espresso from Factotum Coffee and serves open-faced sandwiches on Publican Quality Bread.
