L’ Patron

L’ Patron is a counter-service taqueria at 3749 W. Fullerton Ave. in Logan Square, established in 2012 by the Gonzalez family and run by owner Cesar Gonzalez, who credits the menu to his mother’s home cooking. Meat is butchered in house for tacos, tortas and burritos filled with carne asada, lomo, al pastor, homemade chorizo, poblano rajas, fish and shrimp. Roasted tomatillo salsas, verde and roja, come hot, and the guacamole is topped with dried cranberries and served with freshly fried chips.
