Mako

Mako is chef B.K. Park’s omakase restaurant at 731 W. Lake St. in the West Loop, where Lake Street runs under the L a short walk from the Clinton Green and Pink Line stop. The 22-seat room is built around a sushi counter. Dinner is a single set progression of roughly 15 to 17 courses, moving from small cooked plates such as scallop and king crab through sashimi and nigiri to black cod, a handroll and dessert. Mako has held one Michelin star every year since the 2020 guide.
