Maya Del Sol is a family-owned Latin American restaurant at 144 S Oak Park Ave in Oak Park’s Hemingway District, two blocks from the Oak Park Green Line stop. The menu mixes Mexican, Central and South American cooking: tilapia ceviche, beef barbacoa tacos, a prime bavette carne asada with chimichurri and a center-cut filet with Cabrales blue cheese. Margaritas are shaken tableside. The restaurant has three indoor dining rooms, a large patio strung with lights and packed with plants, Sunday brunch and private event space.
