About
Nichols Farm & Orchard is a family farm in Marengo, about 60 miles northwest of the Loop, and one of the longest-running produce stands at Chicago farmers markets. The farm grows more than 1,000 cultivars on 250 acres and is known for depth rather than breadth: dozens of kinds of potatoes, tomatoes and apples, along with greens, herbs, flowers and storage crops. Nichols sells at both Green City Market locations, Andersonville, Daley Plaza, Evanston, Oak Park and several other suburban markets, and runs a CSA with delivery across Chicagoland.
