Nobel House

Nobel House takes its name and its theme from Alfred Nobel, the chemist and inventor who held more than 350 patents, and the restaurant treats that as a license to try things. The Glen Ellyn location on North Main Street is a sister to the original in downtown Geneva. The menu is built around house-smoked meats, with burnt ends of twice-smoked brisket, ten-piece smoked wings in sauces from Alabama white to honey garlic, and Texas tots topped with chopped brisket. Seafood and scratch-made sides round out the list. The bar keeps more than 30 beers on tap and mixes cocktails, and the restaurant caters and hosts private parties.
