Oceanique

Oceanique is a French-American seafood restaurant at 505 Main St. in south Evanston’s Main-Dempster Mile. Chef and owner Mark Grosz opened the restaurant in 1989, and the menu pairs French technique with American ingredients and a light Japanese influence. Seafood leads, with meat dishes such as prime filet mignon and duck confit for diners who want something else, and pastries are made in house. The wine list runs to more than 900 selections.
