Offshore Rooftop

Offshore Rooftop sits at the far east end of Navy Pier, reached through Festival Hall’s Entrance 2 at 1000 E. Grand Ave. From that spot out on the lake, the rooftop looks back at the full downtown skyline. The venue cites Guinness World Records for its claim as the world’s largest rooftop. The space is multi-seasonal and has a full kitchen and bar with all-day, brunch and drink menus. Offshore also books private events for groups from 15 to 750 people.

What to know

• Guests must show a physical ID; digital and mobile IDs are not accepted.
• Discounted self-parking can be booked ahead in Navy Pier’s West Garage.
• Parties of 14 or more go through the private dining team.
• The venue sometimes closes for private events and posts those dates on its site.
• Entrance is through Festival Hall, Entrance 2, at Navy Pier.
