Pony Shop is an Evanston bike shop on Chicago Avenue, a few blocks from the Dempster Purple Line station and the Evanston lakefront. The shop sells bikes and accessories, services and repairs bikes, and takes calls and messages through the shop’s site. For Chicago riders, the shop is the nearest full-service stop past the Lakefront Trail’s north end at Ardmore Avenue, and for North Shore riders it is the last shop before the Green Bay Trail heads north from Wilmette.
