Revolution Brewing

Revolution Brewing’s production brewery and taproom is at 3340 N Kedzie Ave in Avondale, near the Belmont Blue Line stop, and is the home base of one of the city’s biggest independent brewers. The taproom has 20 draft lines of Revolution beer, from Anti-Hero IPA and the rest of the Hero series to the Deep Wood barrel-aged beers, sells snacks and soft drinks only, and allows outside food as long as nothing is cooked on site. The room holds 270 people.

What to know

• Brewery tours run Saturdays at 1:45 and 2:45 p.m., last about 45 minutes, cost $15 plus tax and include a glass and samples; tours are 21 and over.
• Dogs are not allowed, except service animals, but well-supervised children are welcome in the taproom.
• There is no parking lot, only street parking on Kedzie.
• The Belmont and Addison buses both stop at Kedzie.
• Revolution’s Logan Square brewpub closed in December 2024, per the taproom FAQ.
