About
The Sikh Religious Society operates the gurdwara at 1280 Winnetka St. in Palatine, and its stated mission is to spread the message of Guru Nanak through spiritual teaching and selfless service. The gurdwara holds a full daily schedule of Nitnem prayers, Asa ki Vaar kirtan, Rehras Sahib and Kirtan Sohila, with kirtan and katha on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday evenings. The society runs a Gurmat school, Gurmat Sangeet music classes, a library and volunteer kar seva. Community events in 2026 included a Raag Darbar and a visit from a consul general.
