Sip & Savor

Sip & Savor is the coffee shop on 43rd Street that Trez Pugh III built into a small South Side chain, and the 528 E. 43rd St. cafe is the original. The counter pours espresso drinks, mochas, teas and smoothies and sells scones, pastries and breakfast sandwiches, and the room has wi-fi and enough tables to work from. Block Club Chicago reported in December 2025 that Pugh closed the Rosenwald Courts location on 47th Street and extended hours at the 43rd Street shop instead. The shop is a block from the 43rd Green Line stop.
