Spiteful Brewing is an independent brewery and taproom at 2024 W Balmoral Ave in Bowmanville, next door to Half Acre. Two childhood friends started the brewery in 2012, and the taproom now pours 16 house beers, including Alley Time pale ale and Working for the Weekend double IPA. There is indoor seating, a covered patio kept open through the winter, darts and board games, and guests can order in pizza from Pequod’s or bring their own food.

- Spiteful IPA and God Damn Pigeon Porter are the flagship beers.
- The taproom is dog-friendly.
- The 50 Damen bus stops at Balmoral, and the Damen Brown Line stop is a 15-minute walk south.
