Sushi-san

Sushi-san is a Lettuce Entertain You sushi restaurant at 63 W. Grand Ave. in River North, a block west of the Grand Red Line stop. The room plays golden-era hip-hop and moves a lot of made-to-order handrolls, along with nigiri sets and San-Sets of Balfego bluefin tuna, binchotan-grilled meats and tempura. Fish comes from Tokyo’s Toyosu market, and the bar carries one of the largest Japanese whisky lists in the country. Chef Kaze Chan’s ten-seat Omakase Room operates upstairs at the same address.
