The Mather

The Mather is a continuing care retirement community in Evanston for people 62 and older. Mather, the Evanston-based organization behind the community, also runs free programs for older Chicagoans, including arts and wellness classes at The Cov in Chatham. The residence has one- and two-bedroom apartment homes, some with dens, and roughly 30,000 square feet of common areas. The Mather sits a short walk from downtown Evanston, the lakefront and Northwestern University, with Purple Line and Metra stations several blocks west.
