Todd & Holland Tea Merchants

Todd & Holland Tea Merchants began in 1994, when Bill Todd turned a childhood taste for his English grandmother’s iced tea into a business, and the shop moved to River Forest in 1996 and to Madison Street in Forest Park in 2005. Bill and Janet Todd retired after almost thirty years and sold to Laurie Jackson, who runs the store today. The shelves hold about 250 teas and tisanes at any time, black, green, oolong, white, herbal and matcha, with organic and sustainably harvested lots when available, plus teapots, infusers and storage tins. A tea bar pours complimentary samples, and the corner storefront has windows on three sides.
