Trinity United Church of Christ

Trinity United Church of Christ is a congregation of the United Church of Christ at 95th Street on the Far South Side. The church describes itself as “Unashamedly Black and Unapologetically Christian.” The Rev. Otis Moss III leads the church as senior pastor, with the Rev. Jeremiah A. Wright Jr. as pastor emeritus. Trinity holds Sunday worship in person and by livestream, Wednesday prayer services, Saturday church school and a February MAAFA observance on the history and legacy of the Transatlantic Slave Trade. Affiliated groups include a childcare center and senior apartments.

• The church is at 400 W. 95th St., about a half-mile west of the Red Line’s 95th/Dan Ryan terminal.
• Two Sunday services are in person and streamed; an evening service is online only.
