Urban Pooch

Urban Pooch runs two buildings on the North Side. The Canine Life Center on Ravenswood Avenue, a short walk from the Montrose Brown Line stop, combines a pet food and supply store with daycare billed by the hour, cage-free boarding, grooming with natural products, nutrition advice and a weekday pickup service called Playtime Express. The Training and Fitness Center at 5400 N. Damen Ave. hosts training and agility classes and a walk-in self-wash tub sized for small and giant breeds alike. A points program rewards regular shoppers.
