Wheel Fun Rentals

Wheel Fun Rentals is a seasonal boat and bike rental stand at 1301 N Humboldt Dr, next to the Boathouse Café on the Humboldt Park lagoon, inside the park. The stand rents swan pedal boats for the lagoon along with single and double four-wheel surrey cycles, specialty bikes, mountain bikes and kids’ bikes for the park paths. No L line comes close, so most people arrive on the 70 Division or 72 North bus or by car, and parking on the boulevard and inside the park is free.

What to know

• The 2027 season opens April 24, with weekends only until May 21 and daily rentals from May 22 through the summer.
• The stand closed for the 2026 season on September 8.
• The last rental goes out an hour before closing, weather permitting.
