Zentli is a Mexican restaurant at 1813 Dempster St. in Evanston, named for the Nahuatl word for corn on the cob. The kitchen uses heirloom masa and cooks Mexican street food and traditional recipes, including tlacoyos, flautas, pambazos, quesabirrias, enchiladas de mole and tacos. A full bar leans on tequila and mezcal cocktails, and weekend brunch adds chilaquiles and breakfast tacos.
