Millennium Park Holiday Sing-Along

The city’s Holiday Sing-Along returns to Grainger Plaza at Cloud Gate on Fridays, December 4, 11 and 18, 2026, 6 to 7 p.m., according to the Department of Cultural Affairs and Special Events. A different lineup of Chicago choirs and performers leads carols and songs from a range of holiday traditions each week.

Songbooks, including large print, are handed out on site and posted for download, and ASL interpretation is provided at every session. The event is free and made possible by the Millennium Park Foundation with support from the Pritzker Foundation.

Pair it with a skate at the McCormick Tribune rink next to the Bean, or the tree a block south at Michigan and Washington.

Plan your visit

Washington/Wabash and Millennium Station are the closest stops; the 3, 4, 6, 20 and 60 buses stop on Michigan or Randolph. Millennium Park garages under Randolph are the closest parking, but Friday evening rates are steep. Crowds are manageable at all three dates; the December 18 session is the fullest. Bring a thermos and gloves you can hold a songbook in.
