Modern American Restaurant

Elske

About

Elske is a modern American restaurant at 1350 W. Randolph St. in the West Loop, owned by executive chef David Posey and pastry chef Anna Posey. The name comes from a Danish word meaning to love. The kitchen works with seasonal, local ingredients, and diners choose between a set menu and a family-style à la carte menu, with everyone at the table ordering the same way.

What to know

  • The set menu is $145 a person, with a $65 wine pairing or a $35 juice pairing.
  • Elske holds one star in the 2025 Michelin Guide, per WTTW.
  • David and Anna Posey were named Chefs of the Year at the 2020 Jean Banchet Awards.
  • Corkage is $35 per 750ml bottle, and wines already on the restaurant’s list cannot be brought in.
  • A paid garage across the street has an entrance at 1371 W. Randolph St., and there is no valet.
